Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On February 22, 2017, Global Learning Center held its grand opening. President Gary Weedman, Provost Tommy Smith, and Dean of Templar School of Education Roy Miller did the ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 PM.

Spring 2017 International Students Interview series: “Religious Practices and Christianity in My Home Country”

To foster cross-cultural communication and understanding, we invite some of our international students to share their experiences and knowledge on the religious practices and Christianity in their home countries. Ten students from seven different countries were interviewed. Seven sessions have been conducted:

Session 1: February 28, Tuesday, 6:00-6:30 PM, Bahamas

Session 2: February 28, Tuesday, 6:40-7:10 PM, Madagascar

Session 3: March 28, Tuesday, 6:00-6:30 PM, China

Session 4: March 28, Tuesday, 6:40-7:10 PM, Pakistan

Session 5: April 04, Tuesday, 6:00-6:30 PM, Brazil

Session 6: April 04, Tuesday, 6:40-7:10 PM, Vietnam

Session 7: April 18, Tuesday, 6:00-6:30 PM, Zimbabwe

Language Clubs

In order to create a collaborative learning community, some of our faculty, staff, and students have organized language clubs and meet once or twice a week to learn and practice the target languages. The clubs are open to the whole campus community. There are now three language clubs: Chinese, French, and Spanish. Below are the organizers and the detailed schedule:
