Welcome to Johnson Spotlight on the blog! Johnson Spotlight is posted every Wednesday and seeks to connect the hardworking people at Johnson University Tennessee who do so much behind the scenes to our students, alumni, and friends. We are happy to announce Jeff St.Clair as this week’s Johnson Spotlight guest! Jeff is the hardworking face behind much of what goes on in the Gally as he is Director of Food Services. Take a moment and get to know a little bit about Jeff below!
How long have you worked at Johnson University?
This is my 6th year at Johnson but I have been working for Pioneer College Caterers for over 30 years.
What is your favorite color?
What are your hobbies?
Spending time with my grandkids, (we have 4 grandkids, they are 14, 10, 8 and 4) and enjoying the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. I also enjoy playing the trumpet.
What is your favorite thing about the Christmas season?
Having a special time to remember God’s gift of redemption and forgiveness. It is also nice to have some time off to spend with my family and eat all those holiday goodies.
What is one interesting fact about yourself?
My parents worked at Cedarville University so I have been around and worked with college students my whole life. And I can ride a unicycle.
What is your favorite quote/scripture?
2 Chronicles 7:14,“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
It gives me hope for our country, the future, and a message of forgiveness and healing.
Thanks for working so hard and feeding Johnson University Tennessee! If you see Jeff around, be sure to give him a smile or high-five! We would also like to offer a special thanks to Jeff’s wife, Debbie St.Clair, as this Spotlight post wouldn’t have been possible without her! Thank you Debbie! (You should say hello to Debbie if you see her out and about too!) See you next week!
