This Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Johnson University will host the annual Festival of Christmas Joy in the Phillips-Welshimer Auditorium. In addition to the Johnson University Choir and Vox Royale, this year the program will also include the Scruffy City Orchestra.

On October 25-27, alumni and friends of Johnson University will gather on the Tennessee campus for a 125th anniversary celebration!

On September 21, 2018, Johnson University will inaugurate Dr. L. Thomas “Tommy” Smith Jr. as its new president. Smith is only the seventh president in Johnson’s 125- year history, and he assumes the presidency after almost 30 years at the University.

Johnson University is now part of the Tennessee Transfer Pathway, a program designed to help students who begin their studies at a community college or two-year program transfer those credits to a university where they can complete a four-year degree
