The undergraduate program in Human Services offers concentrations in Family Studies and Counseling. Graduate programs include a master’s degree in Counseling, with specializations in Marriage and Family Therapy/Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. The skilled faculty have professional experience in private practice, community agencies, nonprofit organizations, local churches, and university settings.
Johnson’s Human Services program boasts a strong reputation in the higher education community that appeals to individuals from all walks of life. All coursework maintains a biblical core and is designed to provide a firm foundation for those entering the workplace or pursuing graduate education. Students on the Tennessee campus can also gain experience in Johnson’s state-of-the-art University Counseling Center, complete with one-way mirrors for session practice and observation.
